Zello upgraded the database for Message Vault during a scheduled maintenance window on January 31st. Afterwards, monitoring configuration for the new database was updated in our 3rd party provider. The configuration resulted in false positive alerts for system down. Zello investigated, verified no impact to the recording database, and adjusted the monitoring configuration.
This issue was opened retrospectively to cover the alert on January 31st regarding Zello’s recording database (Message Vault). The system was neither down nor degraded during this period, the alert was caused by a faulty monitoring configuration.
